Pregnant with your first baby? Nurse-Family Partnership's maternal health program introduces vulnerable first-time parents to caring maternal and child health nurses. This program allows nurses to deliver the support first-time moms need to have a healthy pregnancy, become knowledgeable and responsible parents, and provide their babies with the best possible start in life. The relationship between mother and nurse provides the foundation for strong families, and lives are forever changed – for the better.

Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP)
Assistance with the cost of child care in centers and licensed homes. Unlicensed homes can be used if approved with added fee, fingerprints, and background check. Families are automatically eligible through TANF. Families must comply with child support, if applicable. Additional paperwork may have to be filled out with applications, local DSS providers can give more detail.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
Twice monthly meetings for pregnant women and those with children through kindergarten, childcare is provided for mothers to focus on relationship building, networking, and speakers. Runs September-May. Twice a year clothing and accessory swap is held for any moms in the Valley.

Early Head Start
Needs based free child care four days a week with supports in nutrition, health, education, and parenting for eligible families with children pre-birth until 3. Applications are available in the office or by calling.  Proof of income, birth certificate or proof of pregnancy, and proof of immunizations will be needed to begin the process.
